Went wheeling yesterday up at Walker Valley. The new tierod and front axle shafts worked flawlessly. I am very pleased with my money spent. I even stopped on the middle of the Rock Garden on the Expressway Trail and pulled myself to the top of the hill with my winch and new "D" ring and tree saver....so I used all of my new toys.
I noticed a squeek and a shimmy on the way home. Today I traced the squeek to the right rear. The center link in my drum brake for the parking brake came out and loose parts were causing the squeek. I don't have a parking brake anymore anyway so I took the links out of both rear brakes and rotared the tires. A lot of the shimmy went away but, I need to get new balljoints and wheel bearing assemblies.

I chopped up my spare doors and got a general design of what they'll look like as half doors. pulled the sails and main glass out and am going to post the main glass on CL. I tell you..... It sure must have been a sight to see me running a resip saw and chopping up a perfictly good set of doors.

ordered poly urethane control arm bushings, bought rancho steering stabilizer. no more death wobble for now until i get a new trackbar. installed my sway bar poly bushings and my quick diconnects. readdy to go wheelingg

Picked your Jeep up from a shop!?!?!? Starting to sound like those Master Pull guys....

Dude, we could have done your gears and locker.....Seriously, I know it's good to have a pro do gears and give you that warranty. I just had to jump on this opportunity to give you a little crap. You would have done the same to me.
