Been getting a creaking/popping noise when turning the steering wheel for about a week. Finally lifted the front end and had someone move the wheel back and forth to find the problem. The steering box was a little loose. Re-torqued the bolts down and all is well again.

 

Put in a new battery, I've been putting it off the past 2 weeks until it wouldn't start this morning

 

Used a little bit of Tuff Stuff to clean up some of the interior of the Jeep, stuff works amazing on that carpet. Although its not an XJ, but washed the SRT-4 as well.

 

Any tips for cleaning engine bay? Cleaned the outside and inside of the Jeep, but the engine bay is all muddy

 

simple green it, let is sit then hose it off.

Pounded pinch seam back in front wheel wells. Clears the 36 tsl nicely. Now time for bumpstops.

 

Not TO it, but FOR it.

Heading out on a 2.5hr each way roadtrip to pick up a used 3.5" lift for my XJ, a used 2" budget boost with shocks for a girl's 98 XJ and a power steering pump for a friends 98 XJ. Taking the Mowawk trail (a road, NOT a trail, lol) and it's gonna be gorgeous out! AND ITS FRIDAY!!!!

 

Better be a hell of a deal on that suspension stuff!

Looked online at all the stuff I want to do to it haha...gonna try and get a 6.5 lift for it this July. Any suggestions?
