OK.. So for today. started out by finishing the other fenders to match the first two I did. happy with that I moved on to something that had been bugging the crap out of me.. the flimsy cab antenna bracket. grabbed the bracket that it came with, and found a nice new home for it

after that, I tackled the sway bars.. yanked the rear entirely and man was that a pain in the **** to get out. best part is that I only had one jack to work with, and no stands. was an eternity of jack up one side, remove tire, cut mount, wiggle around, put tire back on, remove other tire, cut mount, wiggle around, put tire back on, pull other tire, wiggle around some more, and so on and so on. I swear I took each tire off like 5 times before I was done. at least I got my workout for the day? hahaha

after that, I decided to disconnect the front bar for now so I could see how she behaved without it. was trying to figure out a good way to tie them up out of the way, then settled on just removing the vertical pieces altogether. way easier, and if I need them they're in my tool bin in the back.

next up I tried to get my vatozone shackles installed.. that turned out to be a no-go as those bolts weren't going anywhere for now. i'll have to give them the old pb soak before I give it another shot. I did decide that I was done with fighting the location tho, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone and do the quarter panel fold

goes great with the freshly cut rear bumper

after that was done I decided to go test out my newly found flex a little.. waaaaay better than what I had before! lol

Love what you've been doing with it Uber. Looks awesome! I'll be doing the cut and fold as soon as I'm moved next month and can get the welder / fab area set up. My issue is its going to be a cut and weld as my rear quarters are toast from rust.

Im not sure exactly how far, I'd have to look.

It took me and a 4 ft breaker bar to get my shackles out the first time. That was after a month of pb blaster every few days, so hopefully you have better luck. This time it took me 9 seconds with my impact haha.

i'm hoping for a quick blam with an impact, now that i've got a nice straight shot at it. me and my buddy are always working on each other's cars at his parents place, and his dad's got some burly stuff. hopefully getting on it this Sunday since we both have the day off.

Default the re-birth part 2?

starting wrenching on it again, not sure why? got engine ready for new water pump gasket and replaced bent cooling fan, the jeep has all 3 mirrors now, instead of 1 and a half.
Still need to buy and install new motor and tranny mounts before I really go any further ,
Still need to do:
Windshield (totally F***ED)
DMV (gotta feed the state)
Shocks
Finish lift on *** end
Install new radiator
Get everything dialed in.

more updates later.

Only thing that sucks is when I do it I'll have to move my CB mount.

Got my package from etrailer which included the easy Cherokee wiring harness for my trailer, so now I'm going in and cleaning up some wiring, soldering things that were crimped, and putting a relay on my aux reverse lights so I can wire it up on a switch as well as with the reverse lights.

In this wiring diagram, anyone know what kind/if I need a diode running to the reverse lights?

You really don't need one. All that will happen is it will turn on your reverse lights too, and there's nothing wrong with extra light :-)
