Could remove the front DS. That would take away part of the resistence but, most of my resistence comes from the front axles and diff because of the front locker. Doing it this way is the same effect as those $1200 lock out hubs that Warn and others want to rape us XJ owners for because the factory was stupid and never offered us lock out hubs. The only thing that spins up front now is the wheels. When you finally get your Jeep together with all of the new goodies you are adding and we can go wheeling again, I'll just throw the front axles back in and PRESTO!!!! I'm 4WD again and ready to wheel.

1200 seems reasonable after 5 or six years it will have paid for itself in the extra gas we use. I still can't see why they are so expensive or why some other company just hasn't made them, with all of the dana 30's on the road.

I put on new shoes, rear wheel cylinders, and the bracket hardware. Also replaced my oil filter gaskets that were leaking and put in Mobil 1 synthetic oil and filter. Took awhile but i don't have class on Fridays and plus it was almost 40 degrees out

I need to get down to Pull a Part and get me a set or two of front axle shafts and then I'll be ready. I'm heading down south to watch the Daytona 500 with my bud this weekend but, anything after that I am down. Post up a thread and lets get the next one in the works.

I got family coming up in march, and I would like to go wheeling then. March 27th, was the day I was thinking about. Hopefully my gears will be broken in before that. And I still gotta install the stiffners. But don't wait on me.

Today I bought a set of 2dr. doors from a guy for a case of coors lite, and replaced the brake light switch and lamps. So no more worrying about being pulled over for not having brake lights.
I'm going to chop those extra doors into half doors for the summer time, They should look pretty cool.

Changed the gears yesterday, It seems pretty simple now. Although I need to get some air tools before I ever do it again. The difference from 3.73 to 4.88's on the 35's is pretty amazing.
