Pulled both the np242 and np231 transfer cases to switch out the input gears for the swap. Also finally got those stubborn leaf spring bolts out and pulled the rear end. Finally it's all forward momentum from here on out!!

Matt, could you take a picture of the driver's seat in your 91 and post it or send it to me please? I don't mind a few rips if that's all they have, I can get seat covers. The whole frame under my driver's seat is bent and broken. It's like sitting sideways and half in the back seat. My back kills me for two days after every wheeling trip. If you're just going to $hit can them and use the seats out of your old jeep I want the stockers out of the 91.

So, I am starting to purchase my parts to build my 98XJ. So far, I have replaced almost every gasket, seal and joint in it. I have replaced all the breaks, torn out the carpet and bed lined the interior. I have purchase steel to fab my own bumpers and attach my brushguard and winch. I am ordering my 4.5" X series kit from Rough Country, with SYE and Tom Woods Driveline. Picking up some steel wheels with a deep set and some 33x10.5 BF Goodrich MT tires. Gears are for later because this is a big budget hit all at once. I am stuck on one thing though...
FENDER FLARES!! I do not see any value in paying very much for these. I saw a thread from someone here.

to use 4 rear TJ flares and just cut to fit. Many of the flares I have seen say they are good for xj up to 96 due to unibody so what's the real deal Here? I like the TJ flares cuz I found some for $25-29 each which I'm good with.
Thoughts?

Fired it up for the first time in 3 weeks and went to use the winch to pull my old beast Toyota out of the back shop and the winch would not work so now I get to figure that out. But the beast
