Default Washington trails

So I've been thinking about some new remote camping areas as the snow begins to melt in the mountains. I'd like to use my XJ to get me 90% of the way and hike the rest. I found this link that has a list of off road trails to get me into some of these areas. Has anyone driven any of these trails in the summer ??

All of those that I recognize I would consider roads and not trails. After the snow is melted you could probably do any of them in a stock XJ.

Yeah, I figured they'd be more road like. Maybe I should've asked if there's anything cool to see on these trails like waterfalls, stream crossings, or summit views and the occasional mud pit. Im always looking for new areas to explore.

Ever been to the rimrock area? There's a myriad of trails up there and tons of great views! Its an awesome place to wheel. And the spencer creek trail will challenge even the best and biggest of rigs. Also the short and dirty, its down hill traffic only for a reason lol.

just drive out to the nat forest and drive on all kinds of forest service roads till you find a good spot to camp.

I plan on going to the dry side of the mountains very soon for camping as its already routinely in the 70's over there (leavenworth, chelan, etc area)

Default capitol forest!

Just went up there last weekend. Lots of trees down on the westside smaller roads. Make sure you have a full tank, and a chain saw LOL.
