i carry some spares but probably not as much as i should.
So say "someone" has limited space in there jeep, what would everyone say would be musts in the way of tools to bring? Parts? I have extra upper and lower arms, and extra rear shafts. And injectors. Those are coming along. But what would be a couple tools that u guys think are a must that i add to my tool bag for this trip?

Well I wouldnt go crazy on the trails if you dont have any replacement parts, but thats just me. I would also make sure your steering gearbox has all its bolts and has a snug fit, you definitly dont wanna loose that bad boy
. I would definitly bring the basic tool kit and some extra belts.

Make sure to bring all sockets and wrenches up to at LEAST a 21mm as your bigger bolts ( leafs and LCA's) are this size. Ratchet straps(the big ones), and if you have a spare tie rod bring it for sure, walker can really take its toll on your steering if you aren't careful

Ok thx guys ill keep these all in mind. I got quite afew of those large 4 inch wide 1,000 pound or something trucker rachet straps. As for the tie rod ill try to have my buddy pull one for me fromthe jy 3 mins from his house, that lucky basterd! And as for the large bolts i dont own any sockets that big or wrenchs so ill have to make due with my huge *** cresent wrench and an old pipe wrench if needed. Does anyone know the cost or there give abouts of the belt for a 92 4.0 jeep? Just curiuse of what ill have to spend to get a spear. Does anyone on this trip have on board air by chance...? Would be nice for airing down the tires. Im trying to get my dad to buy me a 40 pound nitrogen bottle for x mas that i can mount up in the back. Holds enough to run an impact for a bit or air up all my tires from flat about 5-6 times. An even reseat a bead. Those are a real ***** on the trail.

I think a starter is important if you have a auto.. a rear yoke straps and caps if you don't have a sye..fuel pump(only had my go out once put had a spare with me quick fix)rear axle shaft if your is c-clips (cant drive far with a log strapped to the side) front axle shafts if locked up.serpentine belt and idler pulley(they seem to go out allot at any time when it goes it brakes your belt I carry 3 belts and large zip ties)I cant think much right now.Ive been up since 2:30 and worked 17 hours today and 1 to work and 1 hour home.so total 19 hours with out much sleep last night on this forum to long last night.I Will think and finish after some needed rest. And I can bring some parts just in case. But I don't have room to carry it(while we are on the trail). And would like it back if not used.Just let me know.

Thx assette. It would be awesome if u or ur buddy would keep an eye out for a 29 spline 8.25 rear axle! I only need the carrier and axle shafts. I really want to do the swap for me jeep so i don have to worry so much about my axle strength. And is there anyway ur buddy could snag me a tie rod to have as a spear for this trip..? Would be awesome because im pretty booked up on time and i dowet ill make it to the jy and idk if my buddy will be able to get me one. Possably drive line u joint straps too? If not its cool just woul be nice to have those as spears. Thx for all the sujestions to guys! Its very helpful to have more opions then just my own.
