There will be a "Sober Up" "Hangover" or whatever else you want to call it, run up to Walker Valley on Saturday, 01 January 2011. The Whidbey 4x4 club is calling it their Sober Up run. There will also be a bunch of stragglers including me up there, too. The more rigs, the more fun Walker is. I know there will be plenty of snow up there to play in....at least in the higher parts. Its even better that way because you have plenty of wet, slippery and sloppy on the lower trails. Then, you get to play in the snow when you get up to the higher ones. This would be a great opportunity for some awesome wheeling and for us forum guys to get together for a grip and grin. I will be at the Burlington, Wa., Dennys just off of I-5 at the College Way exit for breakfast at 8:00am......("THERE IS PLENTY OF TRUCK N TRAILOR PARKING HERE")...Then, I will be up at the Walker Valley main parking area....affectionetly known as The Pit, by us local boys...at 9:00am to air down and lock in. Anybody who has any questions reguarding who, what, where, when, why or how, about this run can PM me here or call or text me at (360)929-5518. Hope to see you all there, Buck

Hey guys we had an awesome first wheeling run of 2011. I had a great time wheeling with the guys from Whidbey 4x4. I would like to thank Eric, Brian, Matt, Dan and the other guys for letting me tag along with them, again. Just a great group of guys to wheel with. The day and conditions were perfect. It was very wet and slippery down low and we had plenty of snow to play in up on top. I'm there in the grop shot two XJs over to the right of Brian's huge K-5 in the middle. I didnt make it up to Expressway and the infamous rock face this time but, the last trail of the day was the totally insane new Lower Sction of the Jeeps Cross Trail...and we ran it going up hill from the bottom.
