Can anyone tell me about walker valley, is it worth wheeling? I have only been to reiter, but recently heard of it but no one can give me details on how the terrain is.

Seattlecrawler, Walker Valley is my home 4wheeling place. I go there all the time. You will want 4" lift, 32s and open diffs for most. There are a couple trails you will want at least 33s and lockers for. Anytime you want to head up to Walker Valley. You just post up on this forum and I will meet you there. There is probably still snow up on the higher parts but, that won't stop me from going. Anytime, let me know, we'll go.

This coming Sat, 28th, you're going to Tahuya, right? If you end up liking Tahuya, you're going to love Walker.

Oh, and you said you've been to Reiter, lately??? I need to meet somebody there to show me around. I use to wheel there all the time back in the day when I had my Toyletta. But, I haven't been there for about 10 years, now so, I'm sure it's totally different. The trail I'm dying to run is the Lake Isabelle. that was my 2nd favorite only to the High Rider but, I'm told High Rider has been closed for a long time, now. High Rider was great. As soon as you left the road you had a choice to go left or right. If you went right, you had to climb a 3 foot rock wall first thing. It was great!!

Do you or this buddy of your's happen to be members of Whore4x4? I've been on their forum a few times. I'm not an official paying member yet. haven't quite made that decision yet. They seem to be a great bunch of people.

You should check out their forum sometime. If you like country folks, which I love, then you will like these guys. www.whore4x4.com. They seem to have more Toyotas and Samis than Jeeps but, they will let anybody in. A great group of people.
