Well, I'd heard Rossi twisted ANOTHER rear DS on his new battle beast. that make 2 that I have seen. I couldn't figure out why all of these pics were posted of rigs out on the trails on Rossi's Walker Run and his rig wasn't in any of them. Now that everybody has posted their pics I see that Rossi was in no pics on the trail because he twisted his DS off trying to go around the left side of the gate....when there is a clearly marked trail around the right side of the gate that everybody else takes. I guess that left side is just for the hardest of the "Hardcore" wheelers. Too bad his hardcore wheeler was put out of comission before it saw even one trail becasuse he had to show off. I wonder how all of those newbs to Walker possibly found their way through the trails with the "Trail Boss" back on the trailer before the first trail.

Well first it was not Rossi's Ron. It was mine. I started it, set the time, and led the group. I'm no veteran or walker but I'm no newby either. And not all the people who went were newbys either.

Not to get on ur case or nothing.

And ya I would say Rossi was definitely tryin to show off to all the guys. To bad it back fired...
Still can't get over him saying he thought that way was the Easyer line....... Yes he said that. Thought he would know better...

I made it over the left side !! That was a really large group that showed up on Saturday. It was probably a little too big to all travel in one group and definitely a learning experience for next time. Unfortunately, I brought people along in my rig that had to be home early, so I wasn't about to lead a group up the mountain then having to leave. Next run at walker, I volunteer to lead a group around the trails and be available all day.

Wtf guys I'm really disappointed in you buck. it was not my run. I was not trying to show off and yes I thought the left side looked easyer. but come on buck what's your beef with me what did I ever do to you
Enough is enough I've been nothing but kind and a good sport on the trails and very helpful to everybody.

Hey Jeff, I give you props for still going with the group after your DS broke. I would've probably thrown my rig back on the trailer and headed home.

Ps, I thought the left side looked easier too.

Sorry there Busted Knuckle. I didn't realize it was in fact your run. No disrespect meant to you and the rest of the guys that came to Walker for this run. I guess some would consider me a veteran...especially of Walker Valley since I've been wheeling there for 19...almost 20 years, now. I personally don't think a guy can be an "All Knowing" of Walker Valley as it changes so much and so fast. I see new things every single time I go wheeling there. It's just that certain guys do consider themselves "Hardcore" wheelers and "All Knowing" of Walker Valley and they repeatedly do stupid stuff and drive WAY too fast while on the trail and it irritates me when I see because it's not safe.....and it tears the trails up. And guys like you and rest are new or farely new to Walker do think these guys know better but...well...your pictures show you, me and everybody just where his kind of "knowing better" got him...LOL.

A lot of guys have been disappointed in me over the years. You are one that I won't lose any sleep over. Just calling it how I see it. The left side of that gate has never been a marked or approved by DNR way to get around that gate. Now all of those new guys to Walker that were there with you that day think it is and probably since they saw you do it and you are the guy "who know Walker" that anybody can just make a trail wherever they feel like it in Walker.

Last time I was there which was what two weeks ago they had the left side closed off (with orange marker, and I thought a couple concrete blocks I could be wrong??) ether way that right side is super easy to get over even for stock rigs...........was the gate locked????? Some times people just close it to scare people off!

I honestly had no idea that the left side was not a designated trail access. If I had know the difference between the two sides, I would've have gone the proper route.

A lot of backyard wheelers in the pnw lately.... Just because you've put your jeep in 4lo before, doesn't mean you know the lay of the land. Unless that gate was unlocked I'd say it's a no go on that 'bypass'. The only bypass anyone should go on is a designated one. It's obvious to see the difference between a dnr route and one that some drunk yota ******* created. Why would there even be a gate if you could just go around? Hmmmmm food for thought.....
