LOL...people here never have an idea how much Cherokees can go for on the private market, especially in urban areas. If there is strict emissions and safety inspection requirements, prices tend to be higher for complete car. A MD 1997-2001 XJ with around 100k miles and is a clean stock will sell for $4000 to $5000. Retail is an easy bet at $6,000.
Sure, you guys can find better deals...but you are not the average buyer. Unless someone here buys and sells cars and can PROVE the prices are too high, I say, sorry...their aren't....well except that $13k Cherokee. That is a scam that you can smell from here to heaven. I mean....a clean car fax...really...then why is the steering wheel and column not original. Agree...that is suspicious. I would be looking through that very carefully and want paperwork (not a car fax) to verify the mileage.

We spent the better part of a month looking for a clean, decent mile, unmolested 98-01. Ended driving from Central Oregon to Seattle to buy a clean stock 99 with 120K miles and a perfect interior/exterior. Had to give $6500 for it. Found several beautiful ones for 8-10K, they all sold within a day or two. I remember when these used to be a dime a dozen...now you can hardly find any. A lot of dealerships are still running ads for ones that have sold weeks before- the ads generate lots of traffic...
Of course...after today it's not stock anymore!
