Yeah, thats my truck with the Diablo Sport sticker in the back window. I finally got around to putting it on. I've the tuner forever but, just never put the sticker in the window. I probably have seen your bike but, I never knew you had a bike until you told me so I wasn't looking for you to be on a bike. So...you have your TA, Jeep and a Crotch Rocket. What kind of toy are you getting next? I was told by the guys in Oak Harbor Auto Center that they would build me a set of cables however I wanted them made. I just needed to give them the measurements and what kind of ends I wanted on them. I guess it's comparable to buying the already built up ones from the factory too.The cables themselves really are in fine shape. I really just need new clamps at the battery. The PO must have gotten the Jeep jumped a lot in the past because those clamps look like a Pit Bull chewed on them. I'm just going to get a set of good clamp on battery terminal clamps and call it good for now. I don't have any crazy lights, stereo or anything that draws a lot of power except my winch and it has it's own cables that go directly to the battery so, I will be okay going that route. I really just want to get this motor swap from my old Jeep into the new Jeep done so I can get it out of my gargae, drive it and push the old Jeep into the garage for teardown.

yea i dont have a crotch rocket though...not really. it is a Ducati! sounds wicked which is why i bought it.

if anything, just cut off the battery cable ends, re-clamp them down with freshly stripped off cable and call it a day, free upgrade! that is what i did for a while till my cables got to short. you could also add some liquid electrical "tape" to the cable ends to keep them from corroding, that is what i did.

Tonight I got a lot of the dirty work done under my old Jeep. I did get my Jeeps belly skid plate off without breaking any of my fingers this time...LOL. I also removed both of the drive shafts. I disconnected the tranny and transfercase linkages and wiring harnesses. I also two pointed the cross member. Pretty much ready to drop the cross member down and do what I need to do. I think I'm going to use Brandens advice when pulling the motor out of this Jeep. I'm going to remove the transfer case from the tranny, first. Then I may just pull the motor and tranny out together so I don't have to screw with those torx tiips while the motor is still in the Jeep. I havent decided yet. When I lower the cross member down I may take a crack at the torx tips. if they come out easy I will separate the motor and tranny and just pull the motor. Then just drop the tranny on down to the ground and pull it out that way. With a lifted Jeep a guy has the option of doing it that way...LOL. Working on that stocker I barely had enough room to get under it to pull the starter off.

Liquid Electrical Tape??? I've never heard of the stuff. Can you get it at any auto parts store? The endsa that are the cables now are the old lead molded on ones so I will have to cut them off and get a set of clamp on clamps but, that liquid electrical tape sounds like an awesome corrosion prevention measure.

Where have you found solder on Battery Clamps for sale? I have never seen replacement battery clamps that are solder on before at any a of my local auto parts stores. That would be perfect.

I have found them at a smaller auto parts stores and places that do batterys or like starter or alternator rebuilding. Check with the place that was going to build your cables most places that build them will use that style. Only thing u have to use is like a map gas torch 10 bucks at harbor freight or so to get the battery end hot enough to melt the solder

Keep an eye on the PNW board on the forum. There are weekend campout runs all through the spring and summer months. It would have to be a 2-3 deal to make it worth your drive distance. You are welcome to come on over to any run that I plan.
