Some news on dad.
He went to his doctor yesterday and they said he can now take his neck brace off permanently. Although his neck isnt totally healed yet he is still on his way to a nearly full recovery. He will be going back to work on light duty in 2 weeks.
As for my jeep. I got both half doors done and mounted. Itook it for a spin around the block and purposely hit some curbs hard and found out that i need some bump stops cuz i was bottoming out the coilovers. If i dont haul *** this wont be an issue. But what fun is that?! Haha i looked into air bumps but they are spendy. So i found the Daystar Stinger bump stops that i am goingto try out

My dad had a roll over and broke his neck when he was younger. He made a full recovery and has no ill effects from it. Glad your dad is doing good and hopefully he will make a full recovery. Being a firefighter i can deffently say that it could have been worse. You have good reason the be thankfull.

both half doors are done. they turned out pretty good i think. i want to find a set of back doors and make them into half doors also just to finish the look
i also had some time to "custom" make a wind jammer sort of deal to try to block off the front seats a bit more to keep it a bit warmer up front in the winter. i actually used the Bestop that was on my dads cj that got tore up in his rollover. turned out good. i just added some buttons on the jeep side so it easy buttons and unbuttons.
i was also looking around at air bump stops and came across these daystar stinger bump stops

they are more less than half the price of normal air bump stops and will probably work for my uses. i wont be high speed racing through the desert so air or nitrogen bump stops are way overkill and these look like they would work fine for my application and the slow wheelin we do in the Northwest. so i ordered a pair and at $204 shipped it wasnt a bad deal at all i dont think! now i just have to find a place to mount them....

i need progress rate bump stops. i want a soft impact and dont want my coilovers bottoming out. the only way to achieve that is to spend the money. and with these ones i can adjust them to how i want them just like an air bump
first trip out will be april 1st! we are going to evans creek which opens for the summer on the 1st. first ones to hit the snow in about 6 months!

Seemed to work fine. Only issue was when i hit a whole pretty hard the front coilovers bottom out. I will see how they work for the rest of the year and maybe get some 12" ones for the front and put these in the rear
