Can't wait to see your Jeep after all of the latest changes. I'm thinking it's going to look pretty cool. You've got me thinking again about doing something more to mine.

i think i am going to run the FOA coilovers. i was thinking air shocks but i dont know how heavy the jeep will be and they dont ride as nice as coilovers. the FOAs arent much more than airshocks either. maybe $100 more

Right on. I'm sure i'll move on from coils in the future, for now they're working fine. For right now, I want to fix the weak 44 issue, picked up a D60 and a D70 last week.

i thought about doing coils but then realized why not just step up to what i really want in the long run and do it right the first time. thats awesome! i wish i could afford a 60 lol the 44 has been good so far to me though. but we will see after i get bigger tires

ha no worries man i dont mind it. im copying other peoples designs too

ok so i got some more work done today. i got the back cut off and started the comp cut on one side. i need to clean up my roof cut a bit and trim a little more off the quarter panel. i have to pull the gas tank out before i start on the drivers side because i will be cuting half of the gas cap off.

yes i have been busy lol

so im getting a little bit done every day. i only get a few hours to work on it each day so progress is slow. but here is what i got done today

started the comp cut on the drivers side. its a little more complicated than the passenger side because of the gas tank filler.

got the gas tank pulled out and set aside. i will have a bunch of clearance in the back now that i will be mounting the gas tank ontop of the floor in the back

and here is a pic of the clearance the back tires will have.

Kinda sad to cut up a new xj, Are you gonna have to cut up the floor in the back for the coilovers and shocks. On a side note I am giving the 44 in the front alot of thought, gotta do it on the cheep though.
