how the quality of the hoses and ram?[/QUOTE]
the hoses are nice thick hydraulic lines. everything seems to be good quality and tough. the ram itself weighs more than it looks. tapping the box wasnt that bad. althoug to get a good thread going on the bottom hole i had to cut the tap just about in half to get the full thread depth for the fitting to fit.
friday i am hoping to have the steering mocked up and close to being in place.

picked up a cooler for the hydro assist. its a tranny cooler off of a ford explorer. it should keep the power steering fluid a little cooler and save my steering pump. also got my steering box back together with the fittings in place. wasnt that hard to get back together. just make sure you have all the pieces. and my tabs to mount the ram came today from balistic fab

dont worry we have all been in your shoes! lol i was there not too long ago. im only 19 and still learnin. i have taught myself most of what i know along with some help from my dad. the best way for me to learn this stuff is to just jump in and do it. i mess up all the time but thats how ya learn.
got the steering box mounted back in the jeep, mounted the power steering cooler in front of the radiator, ran all new hoses from the steering box to cooler to pump. now i just need to get the ram mounted and run some fluid through everything. the only picture that came out decent was this one of the cooler mounted

Hi Wide XJ in Bonney Lake. I need 4.10 diffs for my XJ and I only live in Gig Harbor. This is my first ever day/post on this site. Would be so cool to get diffs from you and talk about the suspension maybe too. I'm keeping mine a bit lower for street/DD/Stroker to come soon. I used to live in B Lake and my Brother Gary does now, way behind the Alberstson's where you can see Mt Rainier in his backyard.
I want to keep with a D30/only built a bit with 4.10 and a Chry rear would be OK for what I'm doing with my 300lb of off-idle 284 inch prior 4L.
Email me at gigmasterd@yahoo.com or call at 253-884-1345 if interested in making a deal, or email just for a local link to a guy who's way behind you in the build process. I did buy a all steel cowl induction hood like in QuadTrac mag ads and really like your armored corners.
