I would be there if I could get this backfiring issue fixed. I can't get over 40 so it would make it a rough trip to get there. By the way do you know of any pick n pull's in the area that have some XJ's. The one in Tacoma only has 4 and one was in a fire. I am definitely gonna be able to go around Feb time frame, Everything should be fixed by then.

yah my buddy had the same backfring issue with his jeep.

There is a guy out in Covington who owns a small junkyard of only cherokees. he is "george the jeep man". his name is george. i will try to find his number for you. i will send you a PM with it when i find it.

i am also planning a snow run on the 27th of december up to evans if you can make it to that.

Just look up the town of Burnett. it is a tiny town and we meet at the Chevron in the middle of town. It should be next to Enumclaw and Buckley.
And from there we are heading up to Evans Creek ORV Park. it is like 20 minutes past Burnett.

It may be farther than you wanna drive for just a short day run though

Is there any other places to go around here. Or is that about it for legal wheeling.

I would love to go to Evans Creek with you guys. I can't go Friday as it is too short of notice. I would love to do the snow run on 27 Dec., though. In fact, I will be on leave from 19 Dec. thru 5 Jan. If you Washington guys are doing Evans Creek, Elbe Hills or Tahuya during that time, post it. I will try my damnist to be there. 27 Dec. would be perfect timing to try out my new lockers Santa has already put on order for me. I'm putting Aussie's in front and rear.

yah i would be glad to have you join us on the 27th.

yah im getting some parts from santa too! no lockers though!

i will be runing open diffs and i think a couple more will be. but my dad is bringing up his cj-5 with us to if we have any trouble.

todays run sucked. me and my buddy started the first trail and not even 100 yards into it i busted my track bar mounting plate and had to bungee cord and zip tie it back together to get myself home! so it was a short day for me.

Count me in for the 27th also. What part of track bar plate did you bust. I still got my stock one. The one that connects to the frame.

the plate that connects to the axle. the person who had it before me placed it in the wrong spot and it was really weak there so it busted. but now it is all welded up and in the right spot so it should be good now.

yah anyone and everyone who wants to go on the 27th is more than welcome to.

Wow, it must be the Track Bar time of year. I busted the adjustable tie-rod end of my track bar a couple of weeks ago up at Walker Valley. I found out the hard way that a 5 dollar OEM tie-rod end for the steering out of a scrap yard Jeep was the same part I got from Rusty's Off Road for 36 dollars shipped. I hope my slow learning process helps one of you guys save a buck in repairs.

So, did you guys make that Evans Creek run after Turkey Day? If not let's get an Evans Creek run in the works for between 19 Dec - 5 Jan, sometime. That is when I am on Christmas Leave. Let me know when you guys can go and I will meet you there. Hopefully, there is no snow there, yet. I would like to see it without snow the first time, then it's all good.
