I thought I should introduce myself here as I will be spending a lot of time traveling up to the Seattle area (Tahuya) to visit friends/family and doing some wheeling. I will also be spending a lot of time out toward the coast.

A little History about myself:

I grew up riding in my Father's 1979 Jeep J10 (He still owns it today)

At 17 years old I bought a 1989 YJ (Don't have any pics)

A few years later I drove a 1995 Grand Cherokee (No Pics, Beater Daily Driver)

6 years ago I bought a 2000 TJ (Built for Rock Crawling)

Sold the TJ and bought a 1990 XJ Limited 2 years ago

Ditched the Renix XJ for a 2000 XJ Sport.
(Will put up pics later today when the sun comes up)

I've wheeling with hardcore buggies, extremely well built rigs on 40"+ with lockers and swapped axles. I just took a job at Christensen Shipyard in Vancouver as an Electrician.

Is there an XJ/Jeep club in the Portland area? If not, there should be.

Nothing legal for wheeling. Browns camp is pretty much it.

Goat is off limits. You will get a $700 ticket if found off gravel roads

Where about in Washougal. its not worth going just up into our hills unless you have a quad or dirt bike.if you get caught off the forest service roads its a big no no. Browns camp has something for everyone and worth the drive. one of these days I want to try elbe and other places up north. hope to swap my axles out this weekend and then make a trip to browns soon.
