Love making people waste money? Cuz $30 for a DS at a junk yard is sooooooooooo expensive. If you are gonna build a jeep do it right.

Alex's is right, you can get buy with out one if your on a budget but its not be proper way. T case drops are just a band aid like look gross and loss you belly ground clearance!
Get yourself a grinder, If you dont have one... A cheapo 4 1/2 inch grind can be obtained for 45$. You want to to figure out about how much you want to trim, For me... It was roughly 1 1/4 inch. I went ever 3 inchs and cut into the fender using the grinder about 1 1/4 inch in. Repeat process till the whole fender has notch's. Take hammer and / or pliers and fold back the metal tucking it away in the fender well. If dont right, It will look factory. Cheers.

Lol do you want me to take pics man...im 5.5 in the back on a 8.25 ...its a 92 two door...I wheel my rig everyday cuz I live in my 20ac. Of land I wheel on...I've been all over in my rig from flex to mud to rock to street for 2 hour drives...didn't drop my t case at all at its just fine for how hard I beat her...if I did bigger tires then my 33s and a like half inch of more lift I prob would not saying its a bad idea...just didn't see it needed for that low of a lift...but if axles size has something to do with it then I am wrong sorry lol

Lifting your Jeep doesn't give you ground clearance dude. Putting a lift on your rig opens up your wheel well's to fit a bigger tire in which gives you ground clearance. You can do a 6 1/2" long arm and your diff is still the same height off the ground(Assuming your running stock P235 75 R15).

Bar pin eliminator...look it up. you basically take the mount out for your rear sway bar and make it a new mount for your shocks its way stronger and gets rid of bolting it to the body..weld the bracket to the body ,the shock end will fit right in there get a good strong nut and bolt and pow easy upgrade that was already on the jeep.... sway bars are good for stock rigs but if you have a beefy suspension most the time you don't really need front or back.. a lot of people run front I don't, but they all take them off on the trail well if you wheel hard or know how... when you see rigs flexing real hard it's because there's no sway bar holding your front end to the body....I would say 99.99% of guys on here don't run sway bars in the back at all and they make dicos for the front
I obviously was referring to ground clearance for the tcase since my post was talking about tcase drops.
Dude take a look at your rear driveshaft. See how over extended it is? Its not meant to be used with your jeep 5.5" higher up in the air. Yeah it works and you can wheel it but that doesnt mean its the right way to do things. We're trying to give this guy good advice.

Yeah about a half inch out of the 6 to 7 inches it has in there... see how it works first if you ever have a very very bad vibration it's not going to work for your particular set up but the way my rig setup works just fine never have any vibrations or leaking or breaking I wasn't trying to be an *** or argue I just wanted to explain to him that not all regs are the same
Telling everyone they love to make people waste money comes off as an *** to me. The advice they gave is sound, I didnt have vibes with my 4.5 inch lift but my driveshaft was obviously extended to far out. I got an sye and front xj shaft, never had a problem, but im at 6.5 inches now and my rear ds is just barely long enough. I worry about it alot lol.
When your axle flexes up and down the ds moves in and out, so at full droop im betting u have 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch of slip left in the housing. Putting the full torque of your engine on that little tiny bit of splines is just asking for failure, dont you think?
All jeeps are different, lifts ride different etc. The best thing to do is lift it, jack the back up so its at full droop and check your driveshaft. Theres lots of ways to solve the problem, but there will be some sort of issue i promise. May need a longer ds or sye or just a tcase drop. You wont know till you look.
Most people go the sye route because its simply stronger, helps get rid of vibes and eliminates the tcase drop.
