The PNW4WDA wants to get it increased to 80" and WOW wants 85". Either would be better than the current restriction which is narrower than a stock JK Wrangler (73.7"). With my current backspacing I am at 74" and fit easily through everything. I know guys with rigs 84" wide that run up there. The trails are tight for them, but they can make it without damaging the trail. In Bob Pacific's reply about the width he said that the trails were originally designed at 60" and have been increased to 72". Seems like the Forest Service is a bit behind the times. On a side note, anyone wanna go wheeling at Evans tomorrow? Im leaving in the morning.
