So I heard that a early 14 bolt 8 lug is the same as a Dana 44 8 lug Ford is this right?

as far as i know most if not all 8 lugs are the same until 99+ ford, then they changed to metric.

Everything was 8x6.5... Ford went stupid, I mean metric.. 8x170 in 99 with the superduty

I like using metric over standard. But that was a dumb move by Ford..

Some of the older 8 lug wheels had smaller holes for the hubs, you could put ford wheels on a chevy but not the other way around. Or its the other way around...

Newer ones are like that as well.. To run the H2 wheels on a Dodge, the hole needs to be enlarged. Pretty simple to machine/have machined to the correct size. It's a very small amount that needs to be taken out.
