Yukon gears are the way to go. As for the locker, I'd go with ARB lockers !

Im currently running yokon 4.56 gears front and rear in my truck and they seem to hold up to towing heavy loads long distances with no issues.

1200 for an ARB doesn't sound right at all. Last time I got quoted a price, it was less then 800.

That was local, and the other air locker would need a compressor as well.

Totally up to you but I would go electric lockers, I wish I would have. I have arbs front and rear they're nice but way to much going on. No matter which way you go you definantly wont regret it.

No one makes a electric locker for the 8.25.
And before anyone mentions it...
No, the Auburn ECTED is not a true locker.

ARB's are expensive, there's no arguing that fact. They are really adamant about their minimum pricing in attempt to level the playing field. $850 is about right.

I would go with Nitro gears (Just Differentials). They are a local company and there products are top notch. I run them front and rear with no regrets. Yukon is hit and miss from everything i have heard and witnessed.

As for locker. I would stick with ARB if you want a quality selectable locker. Nothing beats there locker. I would stay away from the electric lockers. I know a few guys that work in the offroad parts industry and everything i have heard about those lockers hasnt been good.

Just my opinion though

Love those guys over at JT differentials, I've dealt with Jeff a few times and he's a good guy. I've heard many great things about those nitro gears
