Default jeep withdrawls

I sold my cherokee to a friend who is making payments and won't be done till june time frame.

I leave again for 3 to 4 months late march or early april.

I sold the XJ because I was really wanting to get a TJ or YJ maybe a V8 CJ.

But with no jeep in the garage or drive way I am going through withdrawls.
I am missing my XJ.

I am 2nd guessing my decission.

I am really thinking of buying an XJ again when I get back this summer.

What do I do?

I am phening.

What do I hold out for?
here is what i want to end up with.

at least 33s with 37s probably the largest.

Very small lift if at all.

4.0l HO or V8
Auto trams.

So here is what I am thinking.

TJ tubed fenders no lift,or smallest long arm set up.

Or

YJ must have 4.0 HO tube fendered no lift or sprung over.

Or

XJ must have 4.0 HO prefer 97 or newer. Has to be 2 door.
Trimmeds fenders eventually tubed fenderes. Small long arm lift.

Or

CJ-7 with v8 tubed fendered. No lift.

Those are the jeeps I am leaning towards.

CJ is last on my list.

With the TJ and XJ flipping back and forth for 1st choice.

And YJ as 3rd.

This will be a slow budget build.

Help guys

Coming from XJ owners I expect that.

Honestly I am torn between a wrangler and an XJ.

I have owned both and the both have there goods and bads.

XJ are cheap and pretty much have the same drivetrain, aftermarket is large and owner loyality is high.

Wrangler has a frame and a removable top and a larger aftermarket.

i have an xj, my brother has a wrangler. xj hands down. why? because its a whole lot more practical: more luggage space, more spacious, quieter, awesome in all weather conditions, and the xj is SEXY!!!

Barbie drives a wrangler, Ken would drive a badass cherokee.

I am going to leave it up to fate guys.

I want a 2 door xj 4.0l HO with AW4 and 231 transfer case. I want a post 97 but might settle pre 97 if its a great deal.

Here is the but,
If a TJ with the same drivetrain or better shows up first then I will buy it.

If a YJ that has the same drivetrain shows up with a hartop then I will buy it.

I will be looking probably this summer. That is when I will have en find a stock TJ and a post 97 cherokee. Since they start around 3500+.

I know I can get XJ for dirt cheap and YJ for just a bit more.
But I want a 97 up jeep but might settle for a pre 97 jeep if its a great deal

yeah ive had this debat on other forums, i agree more practical vehical as a DD but not as great as an off roader/street usable rig. but as a strickly off road yeah itd be cool. stock against a cj, yj or tj itll lose, plus they have an acuall frame, but hands down...XJs win in my book thats why i got one. but theres so much more you can do with a tj straight out of the box than an xj.

Living in washington an XJ is just so much better. I know that the wranglers are neet but you truly cant enjoy ALL that they have to offer with this climate. Why get anything but an XJ in a hardtop.
I myself would love to have a wrangler as a daily driver and make my XJ much sicker...one day
