My buddy also milled out my super thick washer/spacers for my stud girdle. He will be boring my stock throttle body from 58mm to 62mm this week. I could do this myself but I work in the production side of our shop and he is on R and D side so he has more time available to knock those out.

Got held up from a issue with the cam. The retainer setup is different for the cam vs what my block came with. The aftermarket cams use a different timing set and a spring pin setup to retain can like the 98 and older 4.0s have. So I have to get the spring pin setup and older style timing set which actually works in my favor as the older style timing set is half the cost for some reason.

Got my stud girdle on with the spacers to clear the stroker crank.

Got my oil pan all clearanced for the stud girdle. My spacers are about .187" thick and leave about .200" of clearance between the rod cap and main stud girdle.

On the fence on painting oil pan black or cast aluminum high temp paint like on the block and head??? All pulleys, brackets, and valve cover will be gloss high temp black.

Looks like I'll have no issues running pump gas either.

Final Static compression is : 9.400
Final dynamic compression : 8.220
Quench isn't great/not bad. : 0.085
Cubic inch/total liters is. :276CI/4.53Liters

Not sure yet on exact HP/torque but from looking at dyno numbers for similar builds I should be in the 250-260HP and 320-330 flywheel torque.

I don't plan to chassis dyno but I may run it down Pacific raceways this summer just for the he'll of it and see what kind of power I'm making based off of my time and weight.

Cool

Does have a check engine light on. I'll have to take it to have it read for the code tomorrow. I plan to reset CPU tomorrow as well. Runs so nice.

Pic of it going in.

Second pic is first time the hood has been closed in 4 months haha.

When I was at junk yard I was looking for t-cases for my buddy's WJ Jeep and I found these seats I really want. I like the integrated head rest and the short back with more side bolsters than my classic seats. They are a different material but they are a nice dark black. Pics make em look light but they are not. Only thing is mold. I wouldn't mind replacing the foam but the material is in perfect shape and I like the color and material so I don't want to have to recover too. Junkyard wanted $75 each and I just dont see it. Maybe $75-100 for the pair max. My dad says I'll never get mold out. I would get them if I knew for sure I could kill mold.

Drove the Jeep Jeep into work for the first time in 4 months since my motor went down. Feels good to be back in my Jeep.

Rear is sitting much higher than I would like so I'm on the hunt for some shorter shackles. I'm willing to trade for some MJ shackles or 1" boomerang shackles if any of you local lurkers got a set. Mine are 2" lift teraflex brand.

The RE coils and OME leafs ride great though and I'm quite happy with the ride improvement. Especially for having white bodied shocks.
