I know more people than this have Jeeps up here. Just figured I would post a new thread here to help stimulate PNW posts. I'm in southern Oregon. I'm new to Jeeps. Just bought my first one. 89' Cherokee. I love it so far. All stock, with 197k on it. It has barreled through some gnarly mud pots already. I'm about to swap the stock rear axle for a Chrysler 8.25. I'm new to the area so if anyone wants to let me in on what's going on around here that would be cool.

Default Ok. I lived there for years

I lived up there for about 13 years. Roseburg and Winston. Lots of good wheelin spots off the logging roads in back of Winston. I had a big GMC with a built 350 I ran out there for years. Hard to find anything open down here. All restricted or privet. They do have a kind of wheelin park down here. Good to check your mods out and get muddy but gets boring after a run or two.

Default Not at the moment

We had chains required through the pass a while back but the resent rain has cleared that out. I hear that Mt Ashland is planning to open early this year though so you have to get up pretty high to see the white stuff

Hey guys!!! Just joined this site yesterday. I found it by doing a tech. article search. I was having the wierdest issue with my serpantine belt. I am located in Oak Harbor, Washington. That is on Whidbey Island. My closest wheeling spot is the Walker valley ORV area. If any of you guys find yourselves in this area or want to check out Walker, drop me a line. This site rocks!!! I'm loving having a forum just for Cherokees FINALLY!! I'll help reperesent for Washington until more people roger up on here. I have a 1991 XJ Sport and my son has a 1987 XJ.

I'm from the Southern Oregon area, Medford actually. Lived here most my life. The closest place to me is the Johns Peak OHV area.

Hey, any of you Washington or Oregon boys who want a fun snow run should come up north. We just got a buttload of snow up here and Walker Valley is a blast with snow on the trails. I started holiday leave, today. I have nothing to do all next week but, 4wheel like a mad man.
