Buck, I bought my yukon chromos with spicer 760s for 560$ from davesoffroadsupply. I found it to be a really good deal, He sells them witha superjoint upgrade also for like 650 i think.
I say stick with the d30, upgrade your shafts and steering and maybe 4.56 or 4.88s and never look back! Any deeper gears and you wont ever want to drive your jeep on the freeway,
Your super 30 will handle 35s forever. when you go to 37s or higher then maybe think about a new front axle, till then you are good to go my friend!

Yep, the yukon chromos have a lifetime warranty, so do the super joints.
The only reason i didnt go with super joints is because then, without locking hubs, the ring and pinion become the weak point/breaking point.
I would rather replace u joints all day long than my gears.

Just remember to bring your own damn food this time if you are going to ride shotty with me on this Dec. 30th run, Buttface! You most likely won't even have to get out and pull cable. I've been sorta jinxed or blessed in some wierd way since Timmy gave me that new winch cable after snapping that cheap nylon rope I had when we went and ran Rim Rock. I've been wheeling about a half dozen times and haven't had to pull the cable yet. Even on Ridge Ram while going up, over the boulder and up the snotty hill climb. Remember when Zack went with us.....and then that guy in that Orange Yota that was on god I don't know 38s or 40s we had to pull his winch cable for him to get him over the boulder.
