I'm not counting on a large group. I don't like throwing in stipulations but, even attempting a run like this without tow points front and rear, at least 31" tires with good tread and at least one locker is completely insane. Hopefully this will cut down on the unprepared guys showing up. I will have an empty passenger seat for anybody who wants to meet us at the trail head and ride along.
yes that is going to be the rule from now on. you cant go on a snow run unless you have atleast one locker, tow points, and experience offroad. i dont want another trip like last time.... lol
and yes i believe i am free that saturday so i should be able to go. dad might even have his jeep together by then

Branden, that would be awesome if your Dad's CJ is up for the run.
Bobby, looks like you have a reason to get some work done to your Jeep. BTW, I had the old broken spring main pin issue happen to me while I was down in Nevada...only both of mine had sheared from loose U-bolts which had stripped also. Could have been an ugly day but the whole group ralleyed and threw together jacks, tools and spare nuts and bolts to put a trail fix together that got me 150 miles back to base.

ya the damn shims were making my centering pins break on me too. so i pulled the rear end out and cut off the spring perches and welded some new ones on 6 degrees forward so i dont have to use shims anymore. and now i use grade8 bolts for my centering pins and there is no issues at all lol
