October is alright, but November and December are my favorite months for Evans (especially with some fresh snow). Just avoid going up there the last weekend before closing unless you want to see a slnit show (beat that one language checker!) of unprepared vehicles stuck in the snow and holding you up on the trails. Naches is the same way and I will never again try to go there on the last weekend before closing. Evans used to be really fun in the winter time until they started closing it to reserve habitat space for some stupid bird that may or may not actually be nesting there
. Which also makes it worse for spring wheeling because now that the trails are not getting vehicle travel during the winter the snow piles up so deep that you can't even get up most of the trails until 3-4 months after it re-opens. Because of that you can really only run all the trails at Evans Creek from July - December.

alright so mid november would be best? That works for me!!
We were on the east side of the naches trail last year on that same weekend bill. It was a ton of fun!! We saw a few vehicles but none that slowed us down. I am kinda glad they closed chinook pass the night before and we werent able to make it over, you guys had a crappy day following all those rigs.
That run, was insane, there was one spot we couldnt make it up, we would get about halfway and slide backwards about 150 yards down hill and around a sharp corner. We turned around there.... lol
Would have liked to meet everyone, but that will all come in due time!

NAXJA has been doing Octofest the last weekend in Oct. for the last couple years at Evans Creek. There talking about doing it this year on either 20-21 or 27-28 of Oct. Us Tilted guys always takes them on an good wheelin run
So maybe plan this run with them but be prepared for fun run. lol Just ask the big guy that had to crawl out his passenger side door, lol Plus he went back to camp after the second trail.

Nobody ever said you were being a part of the male anatomy so, nothing to be sorry for. $100 an axle is an awesome deal. Better keep that hookup on the down low.
