This is just fare warning to all of my fellow jeepers from the PNW to be careful if you deal with BDC Fabrications in Portland Oregon . I just lost $1500 on a deal with him . So beware.

 

What happened?

 

We made a agreement for him to build me a custom rear bumper/tire carrier with features I wanted and I paid $1500 up front and I have been waiting 1yr 3mos for it with excuse after excuse from him finally I told him to ship it to me at the end of august done or not and he agreed .At the end of august he wouldn't answer my emails so I let him know answer my emails or I would tell everyone about him.

 

Thought about taking this to small claims court? You got receipts and conversations saved?

 

JCR also lost ~400 to him as well

 

he never gets on this site. he has been notified about this issue and will respond.

i know the guy... doest seem like something he would do....
care to copy the emails that has been sent back and forth?
i want prof before you start slandering people in my network

Since I just messaged him on fb I see that jcr took the money from his account. He didn't take that. But he did admit to the 1500.... **** happened bla bla bla.... he will be contacting the op. He dug his own hole on this one. His to fix.

But the jcr thing is false. They took his money.

 

Ill say it. Dont buy anything from him. He got booted from his place due to the city buying it and most of his equipment was stolen.

Op he is trying to figure it out. He hasn't replied to emails because he didn't want to just give excuses. His phone is shut off. That's why no reply that route.

I hope he will make it right and this can all resolved.

I have heard three stories from him in the past as to why he was taking so long (his father in the hosp ,problems with the neighbors and having to move ,him in jail) and I was patient through all of it. And am I getting this right now all of his equipment has been stolen the city bought his place so he had to move and he has lost his cell phone . I'm guessing it was facebook that pulled down his page then after I made a comment about this on it and not him , because if it was him then he could have sent me a email.

 

CJ (Chris) has decided not to respond to my emails or make a deal with me for payment so I guess I will have to sue him in civil court .

This sucks man, I guess I was lucky when he built me my Rock Sliders which turned out amazing BTW... I gave him half of $600 up front and paid the remainding amount when I picked up. I saw his setup and It was a tough looking spot... He treated me right ... I sure hope that he can recover from this , Im sure he wouldnt do it purposfully ...

 

I don't doubt that he could make a good product , but after a year plus and even when I told him to ship it to me unfinished - that is on purpose , he just kept putting mine to the side and doing other stuff and forgetting about mine and the $1500 of mine that he spent .And now he's moved again so I have to track him down to try and get it back.
