Buck Is Back
Hey everybody!! Well, as those of who I wheel with regularly all know, I was supposed to be leaving on a 9 month deployment aboard the USS Harry S Truman, a month ago. Well, it appaears our Government Bean Counters came up with a VERY drastic plan to save a few million dollars. The carrier deployment I was supposed to go on has been canceled. It was all over the news a couple of nights ago. So, the new word is I could be going on deployment in July or I could be going on deployment in January of 2014. Either way, I will be home for the spring and half the summer and I will probably just be home indefinitely. That being said, I have some serious TLC needing to be given to my Jeep but, it will start now! So, I will be ready to do some wheeling and soon!!!

I am in the process of revamping my whole jeep, I bought a 91 2 door xj in immaculate condition that just needed an engine. Swapping the engine this weekend and then the process of switching all of ole blues goodies over to the 2 door sport!! Hopefully ill be done in time for evans opening because that where i plan on taking it lol!
Jose's white jeep wil be ready soon to, we already chopped the back off and need to weld up the new sheetmetal and hatch to finish.

yessir, swapped engine in her yesterday and starting the rebuild in a couple weeks. We gotta ht evans when it opens! im hoping its done by then! Glad we dont gotta wait 10 months to wheel with ya again lol.
Now if i can just get alex to take his steering off his jeep! lol
