so ive been pulled over 3 time since i got my jeep. first time was for no reason, seriously. just ran my name, didnt even tell me why he pulled me over, and said have a nice day, second time was because he ran my plate, and i guess the guy i bought it from has a suspended license, then today, i got pulled over because my exhaust is too loud, i have a crack in my windshield, and a smaller-than-dime sized hole in my tailight. wtf. bonney lake cops suck.

Federal Way police are not like that... I've never been bothered.

 

I've been in the area for 15 years and never hassled, evenwith 14 strands of Christmas lights on the Jeep, lol.

 

may i ask what where you doing before he pulled you over. if you were atracting attention in some way thats why you been pulled over the fact he gave you basically fix it tickets is pry a good thing.

 

Honestly, its an age thing. I bet your under 25. Last time I got pulled over was 4 months ago, cell phone. Was left off. Before that (3yrs ago), doing 80mph in a 65mph. Left off. Before that...25yrs ago. My windows are blacked out on all vehicles. I have exhaust, etc. When I was in my 20's, I got pulled over daily sometimes. Live in the same area.

 

I would be willing to bet that your first 2 times geting pulled over were because of the previous owner. I live in Bonney Lake and often drive around and in my jeep which is not legal for many reasons. I have never been hassled by a Bonney Lake cop but got pulled over once in Enumclaw and was informed that my bumpers were all wrong and that my windsheild was cracked. But he was nice and did not ticket me. I was also pulled over out by Surprise lake by a forest ranger who told me I was not legal but did not write me a ticket. For some reason Bonney Lake cops pull me over regularly in my daily driver XJ and never seem bother me in my wheeling XJ.

 

i wasnt doing anything, he pulled up behind me in the walmart parking lot, then pulled me over as i headed home. i knew he was going to pull me over this time, since id been pulled over 2 times before.

and yes, im 23, so i am under 25. i just put 35's on and dont have new mudflaps for the size, or fender flares, so ill be expecting to be pulled over again.

no, he saw my jeep in the walmart parking lot, waited for me to get in, then followed me. idk, guess he didnt like something about it.

 

I've actually seen them do that on a number of occasions, lol. So I don't doubt it.
