The boss will be out of town from Wednesday thru Sunday night. I am free all this coming weekend to 4wheel until the wheels fall off. I'd really like to go to Evans Creek if anybody is going there. Tahuya would be good, too. Heck I would even go to Elbe Hills. I've never been there before so we would be going strictly by map unless somebody goes who has been there before. If nobody Rogers up to go any of these other spots, I will be going to Walker Valley Friday, Saturday or both. I know Walker very well so I would be happy to trail guide anybody who wants to come up.

Bobby, I will be looking forward to those Elbe pics. I've always wanted to go up there but I just can't go this weekend. Maybe that is where I will go wheeling next weekend. I hear that Busy Wild is a prett gnarly trail.

I heard on the news that it is supposed to rain this whole next week. I'd really like to go wheeling up at Evans with anybody who is going. Evans Creek should be awesome whether it gets some snow or even if it is just super wet and muddy. Come on Tim. Let's go wheeling at Evans next Saturday.

What is this all you guys are talking about a gear break in period. You, Bobby and Tim have all said the same thing. I installed the gears in my rear D44 over a weekend and then drove the Jeep 800+ miles down to central Cali. I installed the gears in the front D30 while I was there and then drove back. My gears have been in my axles for over 2 years now and I've never had a n issue, vibe or heard a peep out of them.

Bobby would you like to do Walker, Tahuya or Elbe? I really don't want to go up to Evans Creek without Branden or Tim going. I still don't feel I know my own way around up there good enough.

Wow...I guess I did get lucky because knew nothing about giving it a break in period. My XJ was my 2nd backyard gear swap and they turned out much better than when I did my Toyota truck years ago.
one of my friends was at evans a few days ago 27ish and it was still snowing. a big group of us are going to tahuya sat to monday camping and wheeling all weekend. the april 3rd to5th we have at least half a dozen if not more. were meeting at the belfair safeway at 9:30 10 am sat morn. we run channel 7 on the cb. and if all else fails gimme a ring 360 520 0241 were just out to have fun and get muddy.
oh ya we go from a little over stock to 33's xj's a grand here and there and mebbe a full size ford.

Brian it is up to you really, from what I saw of Elbe it was pretty cool, but also lots of water alot of the rigs there had snorkels. And it is very close to Rainer nat'l park. Just to give you a ballpark on your driving distance. Or we could just go with Ravens crew.
