While driving my jeep the tach an Speedo shut off at random for about 40 sec then comes back on. Any ideas

 

Does the air bag light come on too? Its a very common issue for the late models it seems, my 98 does it sometimes too.... A swift tap on the dash and they come right back.

I think I read its related to the connector for the cluster iirc. Some say to take the cluster out and clean out the connector and add a little dielectric grease and it usually fixes it.

 

No air bag light, it's already a different cluster. I've cleaned the connection like ten times. It'll shut off then turn on at least 5-7 times in 10 mile drive. Its getting pretty old an starting to **** me off haha
