well that's kind of what I was getting at. here you only have 24 hours before they cite you. usually less than that before it gets vandalized.

OK , another question , We might have a buddy with a truck today to help us out , im thinking of just renting a dolly , and towing it that way ... BUT , i dont remember if this jeep has a N on the transfer case or not ...SO , question is this . IF i were to get a dolly , and put the front tires on it , obviously .. lol its early , bare with me ..... would I need to disconnect the drive line ? or drive shaft( not sure of the right term for jeep ) . We are trying to get this done today , so if any one knows right off top , we would appriciate it guys , thanks for all the help thus far as well , seems like you got a pretty decent jeep community here

i called AAA , they were horrible , maybe i just got a bad rep , but id rather **** glass than talk to that tool again . . . I dont know what else to do here, tow truck is not an option . Thought about maybe doing a uhaul dolly , ( btw does that mean i need to unhook the driveline/shaft, what ever its called). I just need to get her home .

Some one asked if i knew any one with AAA , i dont think I do , but what if i did , how could that help me ? Im literally pulling my hair out here she's so lonely at the top of the mountain!!!! I need her home so no one gets hurt. thats my main thing , **** the jeep , i just dont want some one sliding into it or something . any how , ill have this on guys , any help is appreciated .

AAA memberships are to the person, not the car. If a friend had AAA, they would be able to get you a tow.

No idea how you had a poor experience with AAA. They are one of the oldest automotive clubs out there, and didnt get that way by treating people poorly. Maybe because of your frustration with the truck you took the operator wrong.

Keep in mind, though, new members must wait a day or so before getting a tow.

Yes, you can tow your XJ on a dolly. If you want to be safe its an 8mm wrench to remove the rear DS. I think you can just leave the trans in neutral, though.

thats what ive heard about AAA .... I was nice and courteous to him , stressed my situation .. and all this guy could do is read off a ****ing screen , the same thing , over and over , did not answer any questions , or try and help find some solutions , i LITERALLY had his whole pitch memorized with in 5 minutes of talking to him , every time i tried to get the convo elsewhere , he would go right back to reading his lil screen ... was rediculous.. maybe his wife is bangin his nighbor or something and i sound like the guy , he disrespected my wife by treating her like she was retarded , and speaking really slowly in a mocking manner , **** , that .

any how , thats niether here nor there... now here is the question , does any one have AAA and get treated right !!! lol i got pay pal , and could work something out with you if that could be an option , i gotta make this happen some time today . its allready 10 my time . .wish there was a smiley thats pullin his hair out , cuz thats how im feeling .

Default allright gentlemen , wish us luck

We are officially heading up to the mountain right now to 1. see if she is still there , and 2. run some of this lil diagnosis and see if it is something smaller than the pump , maybe limp her back to oak ridge , just wanna say thanks for all the input , and once we get her up and running , would love to see some of the trails oregon has to offer ! good lookin fellas and ill post a lil later with the results . We will throw some pics up as well . again , good lookin out . Hopefully we get her going and are "turtle enough for the turtle club " ..

Yeah keep us posted and feel free to ask things just keep in mind the more details you are able to include the easier it is for us to be able to trouble shoot something over the net.

Alright, so last night when we were at the Jeep we check the CPS, the ballsat resistor and the fuses and relays. All look good, getting power and such. We took the fuel filter off as well and it's not clogged. So we're assuming that it's the fuel pump at this point.

If any of you have any other suggestions please let us know! We'll be working on her all day long.
