Um, if it is really super wet like I know it is this time of year, I wouldn't be so sure of that whole being able to drive a rent-a-wreck through Walker quote. I've seen trails I went through in 2wd when its dry cause my Jeep to slip and slide around and right into a root and knock windows or tail lights out in the blink of an eye. I agree with busted-knuckles on the "if you choose to save your Jeep and want to hop in with somebody else, do it!" policy. I don't want to scare anybody by any means. Just make no mistake. Wheeling Walker this time of year you will see it at it's slippery, slimey, muddy, wet, snowy, bouldery, rocky, tree roots popping out out nowhere, worst! I must also add in all honesty this is the absolute most awesome, fun and thrilling, time of year to run Walker!!!!! If you have an XJ that you bought and/or built for driving offroad, then except the fact that it's going to get a few dents even if you are driving at your best, safest and most careful. It happens. Don't think you are going to roll through the trails at Walker in a shiney, pretty, Mall Crawler Cherokee and not hit anything....Especially as wet and slippery as it is this time of year. Going through the trails is pretty much a somewhat controlled slide. If you are careful, you won't trash your Jeep by any means. Just don't go up there with the idea that you are not going to hit anything and hold everybody up for an hour at every obstacle trying to get through untouched.

I am SO in for this!!!!! Let's do 10, 20, 50 bucks for everybody who thinks they can make it through a Walker Valley Trail the quickest. Winner Take All! I'm in!

I've got an even better challenge. Who can make through any Walker Valley Trail the fastest Blind folded with a person of the driver's choice spotting them.

Who is game now??

Sorry about all the posts at the same time guys. I'm currently out of town and I had to get caught up.

This run really looks to be a great time with all of the Testosterone that will be flowing in this group. Just remember when it's all said and done Old Man Buck has all the right tools and most of the right parts to fix a broke XJ and make it road worthy enough for the ride home. I also have all of the right recovery gear to get anybody unstuck anywhere in Walker Valley....And those of you who know me know I will help fix and/or extract anybody that I can. Those of you who don't know that just might find it out on the 30th. I've pushed, pulled and dragged more than one stocker XJ through the trails of Walker. Nobody gets left behind stuck or broke.

I also have just one other tiny little challenge for all takers. Who thhinks they can make it up the right side of the Rock Face on Expressway??? Just asking. Been there. Done that. I know 2 different guys who have video taped me doing it. If you try it, prepare to experience the taste of seatfoam. You will be munching. The Rock Face is quite slimey this time of year....

Do you remember what the last thing was you did to your front axle before the Death Wobble started? You might luck out and just need to do a simple adjustment.....oh wait, you were the guy who started a thread with pics of your front axle saying you had death wobble, right? If so, I wrote a post on that thread with all things that have worked for me in the past to fix death Wobble.
