Recently I had to remove my dash to clean-up some glass.

man thats a big job, started to do mine to get to heater core got it all undone but found bolts behind engine that will be a pain, so put it all togather again ..... still got that blue bulb hanging down . is that for the ash tray?????cheers...

I pulled my gadge cluster awhile back,thought that was a pita.

Yes there is 3 or 4 bolts behind motor in order to pull heater core box out found them when I was tearing down Bare Necessity Build. They wasn't that bad yall (Oh yeah I already had the motor out) LOL.

i pulled my cluster out a few times... still have yet to put everything back haha. does the ashtray have a light?

Yes it does,I am trying to complete the entire write-up but having a few issues.

Are you having issues with the dash removal itself? I have pulled 3 of them out so far on the older models and will most likely being doing it on the wifes 01 soon to stop a water leak.

No,that was the easy part,uploading the pics is the issue,there seems to be an issue that is changing my pics to red x's and for some reason here in the test section they are fine,I wish the write-up was as easy as removing the dash. Nick n ii,bluexj,and nathan are helping to resolve the issue.

What is it with the bulbs having the blue "condoms" on them? I took my cluster out the other day and started checking the bulbs, 75% of them had those. I took them all off and the gauges are much brighter.

Mine only has it on the ashtray,just dulls the light.
