Default ZJ springs and spacer question

If I got ZJ front springs and 1.75" coil spring spacers how much lift would that give me on my XJ. And would it be better to do a procomp 2.5" rear leaf pack or a 3" RC leaf pack. What would be level?

Thanks

That would net you about 2.75". A lot depends on the condition of the springs. The Up Country package had another inch, I think. Hope this helps!!

ZJ, TJ, XJ are all the same.

WRONG..

TJ coils in a ZJ lower you 3"
XJ coils in a ZJ lower you 1.5"

And those are not numbers off the net those are numbers from trying them out, in my and friends rigs.. You can interchange them but they all have different spring rates so the height verys. The only one that is truly longer is the ZJ coil and thats cause from the factory is has 3"s more wheel travel..

I believe that he was saying that the coil spacers are the same for the ZJ, TJ, and XJ. Which is true.

Yeah, what Mykal said. The spring rate differs, obviously, but the diameter is the same, so the spacers will work for all of them. If I were you, I would do the ZJ spring and spacer swap up front, and the 2.5" PC pack in the rear. You'd rather fall short in the rear than be too high, and you can add a shackle to compensate. It's easier to add a little lift than it is ti take it away. JMO.

Easy there buddy, If you read the question it was referring to the spacers not the coils in which case they are all the same.

A ZJ is a Grand Cherokee from 1993 to 1998. The stock V8 springs will give you about 1" - 1.5" of lift. The upcountry springs add about 1" to that.

I think they will lower the xj, if I get this right

TJ coils in a ZJ lower you 3"
XJ coils in a ZJ lower you 1.5"

bc if ZJ give the XJ 1.5" and they TJ lower the ZJ 3" that will be a 1.5" lower xj.. I guess,, IDK
