Yukon spools any good
hello once again. I have a 96 cherokee with dana 44s recently i broke both axle shafts and cracked the welded gears so i bought new shafts and gears and was able to get a used Yukon spool from a friend. I called the local drivetrain place (coast driveline) to see how much it would be to install everything he gave me a price but said he wouldnt do it because of the Yukon spool. He said there crap. Has anyone ran one of these or heard anything about them, any suggestions. I was thinking about getting the G2 spool if i should get a new spool. Thanks

There is nothing wrong with Yukon products...only a bad installer
Alloy, Yukon, superior...etc are all good products. You get what you pay for but a spool is a spool and with zero moving parts it's a no brainer but as for it being junk I highly doubt it
If you got the dime get it magnafluxed to check for cracks if you feel uncomfortable
