It looks good, however I like front bumpers that wrap around the front corners slightly. Feel that it gives it a more finished look.

Dont know anything about this guy but the 97 and newer bumper is bad ***** and is a killer price.

I would say don't get it. My JY tow hooks have better tie ins than that bumper. It looks like it only uses the three existing holes for mounting, if you try and recover someone with it you will rip it off.

I personally hate the front hitch look but that is me. Check out JCRoffroad for a good bumper at a good price!

I was gonna say exactly what stryker said. You need tie ins so you are able to use the hitch. And I like a bit of a rap around. My .02

Yep and their rear bumper is even worse, it bolts up just like the factory one. So basically those d-ring tabs are for looks and has no functionality. The front is better but I am with striker spend the money on tow hook brackets and scrap that the mount plates aren't no where near long enough to tie into the frame to be a proper tow point.

If you need a bumper cheap check out nates 4x4 like posted above at least he uses proper frame tie in.

my bumper is alot alike with that one, it looks like it has the same frame points that mine has, and ive winched and jerked and havent seen any damage to the frame where it mounts, i just used 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts to tie it in, so i wouldnt stray from that too much but what id like to see on that bumper is a winch plate, right ontop of the reciever to help strengthen that also, id def say get it thats a pretty good price i thing and it looks just as sturdy as mine so id say give it a shot!! i dig it

you could always strengthen the frame were the bumper bolts on. like weld some 3/16 steel in. then the 3 holes would be plenty

ok so i just talked to the guy on the phone, and he said there is those 3 bolts for the factor bumper mount, and an additional 4 bolts for each side tieing into the unibody...

and he could make the standard bumper and add a brush guard/pre-runner style to it for an additional 45 bucks...thoughts?? (keep in mind i would pick it up, so no shipping)

Ask him to send you pics of the tie-ins but from what it looked like I would pass. But if he wants your Business he will send the pics then we will tell you if they are good or not.

It may take a few pulls but it was not made for recovery. Hence all the GOOD stuff has tie-ins to atleast a foot back. I mean you are talking about the possibility of a hundred+ piece of steel ripping out of the unibody! And if you were to be wheeling with Cherokee Forum you wouldn't pass a standard tech inspection.
