GM and Chrysler is never gonna happen. Fiat bought a 35% stake in Chrysler with the option to go for 55% in the next couple of years.

Its better than GM just absorbing Chrysler and getting rid of all the Chrysler vehicles that were in competition with GM's. Jeep was never going to be part of the GM/Chrysler merger so I think that would have killed jeep unless someone else picked it up. Who knows what the hell is going on these days with the way the auto industry is. We will probably only be able to buy foreign cars in the future. So make sure you get your XJ rust checked every year and make her last forever. haha
