Default XJ Tune up?

Hey everyone,

I'm wanting to give the Jeep a tune up. I'm thinking spark plugs, wires, clean the air filter, and an oil change. Just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions to add to the list?

REPLACE the air filter, especially if it is a KN dust cleaner.

First thing I want to know when I do this ork is when was it done last. If you have to say I DONT KNOW and and maintenance item of fluid, fix, change or replace it. How long have you have your Jeep???? When you bought it did you replace ALL of the fluids, change the Plugs and wires, replace the T-stat and Radiator hoses, change the air and oil filters, check the brake pads?????

Well the oil has been 3000 miles maybe a little more since its last change. The hoses are in pretty good shape. However, now that I think of it, I don't think I have changed the transmission fluid so that is a must on the list. I've had the jeep for roughly 4-5 years. I know Ive changed the spark plugs but its been a while so I know it wouldn't hurt to change those along with the wires. The t-stat is new and my air filter is in good shape just needs cleaned up. So change the oil, transmission definitely, clean the filter, change the plugs and wires, and I'm gonna grease my shackles. I know its been a while for those.

Flush the brake fluid, change the oil in BOTH diffs and the TC fluid.
