today i noticed that when i started my jeep it sounded a little rough like it wanted to die. but after i gave it gas and reved it really high it was fine any ideas on what this could be

i have a throttle body spacer and cold air intake? Spark plugs idk?

Your intake, and TB spacer wouldn't cause you that problem, but the plugs, wires, cap, rotor that could cause this as well as a few other things. Can even be as simple as bad fuel.

And maybe you drive like a grandma so you 4.0 is all carboned up. and that high rev cleared stuff up.

check your plugs and what not. maybe run some seafoam through your TB

X 2 on thoroughly clean your Throttle Body inside and out. Pull out the IAC and clean the bore. Do a complete tune-up...plugs, cap, rotor, filters, fuel injector cleaner. I bet she'll run like a champ!!
