Hello All,
I have a couple of questions.
I recently replaced my TPS because my 92 XJ Manual 2WD would shut of everytime I slow down at stops or turn the corner. As soon as I replaced the TPS, it idled really high so I shut off the car. When I started it back up it idled just fine. I took it for a lil test drive and it ran like a dream. The next day I was driving home from work, as I accelerated past another car I felt a slight tug, like the motor slightly sputtered. Then I came to a stop, it was fine but as soon as I took off, the car shut off and wouldn't turn back on. It had spark, it just felt like the car wasn't getting any fuel. when I got home I cleaned my old TSP with throttle body cleaner and slapped it back on. I left the air breather off and turned on the car, it took a lil while to start but it's running now. I also cleaned my throttle body. I changed my fuel filter 2 months ago and my K&N air filter is super clean.
What other parts should I replace that are related to these problems?
Could have been my coil?
Distributor cap, rotor & wires perhaps??
Most of the parts on my car haven't been replaced since the car was bought.
