XJ Rustys brake line extenion?, Z bracket
I bought the Rustys 3 in AAL Lift for my 98 cherokee, It comes with a Part called a "Z bracket".It is suppose to relocate part of the rear brake line. The instruction say to hook it to the "E bracket on the Frame", which is welded to the frame, Does anyone have any experiance with this piece?

x2 go to autozone and get you either a 95 YJ line which is 3" longer for 18bucks. Or you can get a Dakota line which is 6" longer for the same price. I got the YJ line cause I'm sticking with 4" of lift.

The brake "Z" bracket is easy, Bro. Just remove your rear brake line from the stock bracket. Drill a small hole and attach the "Z" bracket to your stock bracket. Use the original clip to attach the brakeline to the new bracket.
The AAL is a little more involved but easy as well. I removed the leafspring from the Jeep but you don't have to. Remove the pin from the leaf spring. I believe the AAL goes between the load leaf (Bottom shortest leaf) and the second. I put a good quality high temp grease between all the leafs to help in flex. Put the pin back in. Might need to use a "C" clamp in this evolution. Put it all back together.
