XJ Rear Bench Removal
I run mine like a pick up and would like to remove the seat of the rear bench out. the backrest is fine as it is. though will i encounter alot of issues if i remove the rear seat when i try and reinstall?

I take the back seat out of my '94 all time. Super easy to get back in. If yours is a '96 or down, should be no problem. Probably true for the '97 and up too, but I don't have personal experience.

Naw man, it's real simple. There's a switch on the passenger side rear seat. Just pull it up and lift up then slide out. reinstallation is a breeze.

holy ****aki! thats it? i was cleaning the car out yester day and noticed floor switch and was like Dafoxz is this!@! sorry but that just blew my grape open.

Lol yup, I discovered it about a month ago and thought it was a really clever way to make the seats retractable.
