I will see what the stat does and go from there. I will take that restrictor if the stat does not help me.

Okay, Thanks! Ima try to pick up a Stat tomorrow after work.

 

Put a Stat in there tonight. Hold hell that heat felt good. I let it sit and idle for about 20-30 mins and it never went over about 180. I tried to get it to 210 or more and see if the fan would kick on. I know the fan motor is good and so is the relay.

The jeep even sounds and runs different now. Its only saw that kind of operating temp like three times and was wheeling for long periods. That should help the mileage go back up a little. Now I gotta get this exhaust back on there.

 

Why do you need an exhaust? I like the sound of my renix with no exhaust after the cat, lol... My jeep is running cool also, Im gonna block part of the radiator with cardboard. It never goes above the 2nd line on the temp guage.

 

Sounds like you need a Stat also. Mine has no cat and a thrush turbo with a turn down. Gotta V8ish sound but it gets old after awhile. I went to the junk yard and got the cat with pipe and gonna replace it all. Yeah I got the whole section of pipe and the cat with the o2 Sensor still in it for 60.00! I may try to sell my Brand new o2 Sensor that I paid 85.00 for!
