XJ needing some love, LOTS of pics.
So here's my new to me 98 XJ 4.0 4x4 with the auto.
Now that I've had it a full week it decides its time for me to start tearing it apart chasing electrical gremlins. It did the no dashlights/tail lights thing. Replaced the switch assembly, tripled checked all fuses, bulbs are all fine, and still nothing. Working on manually checking voltage and continuity of all the wires. This is day four.

New switch

Wires, wires, wires

Checking all these as well...

And still no resolution with the wiring...
Its got a bit of a lean to the right side.

Undoubtedly the suspension is quite worn, time for a lift I'd say.

Springs will be getting swapped. Saggy!

New muffler will be needed as well.

Looks like its about to drip, no stains in the driveway though.

New pinion seal should take care of this.

Bushings underneath all need replaced.

One of the bolts for the front sway bar has sheared off.

So I've got a few things to do, anybody around the NKY/Cincinnati area that feels like getting their hands dirty? lol
Good thing it's not my daily driver yet, I hope to have it in good shape before winter.
The wiring issue is driving my crazy though, can't figure out the problem.
