Hello, I 'm new to the site, searched around a bit, but didn't completely find what I was looking for, so...
I have a 99 XJ... I just put on a 3.0/3.5 Pro comp lift.
Couple questions, Those who have had, or know.
The front rides good, but the back seems off, real stiff, and almost feels like the shocks aren't long enough.. Bought the kit from 4 wheel parts, and the guy said it was complete.
Had to shim the transfer case down to get rid of a wicked vibration, but thats all sorta out.
Any ideas with the rear?

did you use add a leafs? or new set of rear springs?
did you replace rear shocks?
AAL's will make it stiff, but it is a xj so its not gonna ride like a car remember...

make sure everything is nice and tight. other than that new springs will be stiff for a bit. Go flex them out a good bit and they should settle a little. sorry

I am not trying to bash your kit or XJ. I'm merely giving you the experience a close friend just had with the same kit.
A friend of mine just purchased one of 4 Wheel Parts, Pro Comp kits.
The only option for a Cherokee is a 3" part number EXPK3058B.
It is an AAL kit. He has had it for 7 months now and he hates it. Rides way to stiff. As most AAL kits do. He has tried everything he could to try to improve it but it has never changed.
The guys at the shop told him to expect a VERY stiff ride with this kit when he purchased it. Unfortunantely, the kit was around 600.00. He could have gotten a much nicer kit for the same price.
Rubicon Express SuperFlex 3.5 is cheaper.
If it's worth anything, your Cherokee looks great!
