XJ Lift Help!
I'm trying to decide on which lift to put on my XJ. I have chose to options, RE 3.5 Super-flex or Rusty's 3.0 Spring Pack. My XJ is mainly highway use, but I do take it off-roading while hunting and on the weekends. PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE! Does the Rusty's flex at all? Right now I'm leaning towards the RE!

I have a Rusty's 4.5" full leaf spring pack lift on my XJ. The Rusty's front coils are awesome. They ride nice on the road and flex like mad off road. The rear leafs are a little stiff for my liking but, since you're going with the 3" lift, your rear springs would be a little more flat than mine. So the 3 inch lift leafs would probably ride and flex better than mine. So, I say go with the Rusty's kit. They make good quality lift kits and their prices are a little lower than RE. RE makes a darn good quality lift. Probably the best you can get for a Jeep but, you will pay for it.

I love my RE 3.5 lift..It ended up being right around 4.5" of total lift. You have to add a 3/4" coil spacer to level it out though. Rides great just get some nice Bilstein shocks and it will ride like a dream.

the RE is a good kit, but it's expensive. i've been pleased with mine, but the leafs are very stiff. i've heard good things about rusty's suspensions, just not their steering.

Would it be smart to run different rear axles? I mean I don't do extreme off roading or rock crawling, but some of the dirt roads I take are a lil harsh...Will the dana 35 be sufficient?

keep the axles you got for now unless you go bigger. i have a 8.25 with 32s and ive wheeled the **** out of my jeep and it holds up fine. same goes with my dana 30.
