I just bought a 98 XJ Sport, it has power windows, power locks. how do i know if it came with a keyless entry system as it did not come with a remote and only one key...

 

Hi, look under the rearview mirror and if you see a plastic black bubble attached then you have one. Most Cherokees came with this option. Here is where you can get a FOB if needed...Tj

i have a 99sport with all power options as well, when i bought it it had the remote but i need a new remote , as the one i got doesn't work (allready repaced the battery and clean the board and everything) so if anyone knows how to reprogram a new one , i can get a new one on ebay

 

'97 and up have to be programmed at the dealer. They charged me 45 for two.
