Real common. Mine did the same thing so I went to a local hardware store and bought my nuts a bolts there. I went ahead and did the same thing to the other side even though the other one was good. Just kinda like changing a head light. One goes change both. I like to keep it that way.

Crazy thing is that happened to me today. Ok, here is what I did. I had to sawzall off the rest of the bolt, then I tried to drive out the stuck part out with my impact hammer. Yeah right, not happening!
So, I used my grinder with a cut off wheel and carefully cut an access hole, in the mount just under the location of the nut and remaining bolt. Again, this was done carefully. So, I can easily weld it back on after the removal of the bolt and nut.
Now that I had this pyramid shaped access hole to get at the nut and remaining bolt I carefully used my sawzall to cut the end of the bolt off, then cut the nut off of the inside of the mount. This was a pain, because of the shallow nature of this area. Using the sawzall gets it done but, I did jack up a couple of blades in the process.
Got her done though. Now, tomorrow I will tack weld a washer onto a new nut, then weld the washer/nut from the spring mounting surface. After ensuring the process will work structurally I will then weld up the access hole that I had cut with the cut off wheel.
It is a pain in the **** but, have patience and you will get it done.
